Why do people have a Pavlovian response to the 90s as being "creatively bankrupt" when the 2000s gave us Ultimatum, One More Day and The Draco? Plus, people act like Liefeld defined the entire decade when his influence really ended in around 1994. I feel like the people who are the hardest on the 90s didn't bother to read much of it and just repeat what other people say. I'm still not defending Heroes Reborn, The Clone Saga or The Crossing though.

You can find good stuff and bad stuff in any period of publishing.

But there was an awful lot of bad stuff in the 90s.
